"In an economy where jobs are increasingly threatened by automation, the future belongs to those graduates who possess “agency”—who act with purpose and determination to drive themselves across a career map without clearly marked roads."

While gap years are becoming increasingly recognized as a beneficial endeavor for many incoming freshmen, many gap year programs focus on a specific area of development, such as programming, outdoor education or service learning.
Our Year On experience provides a curriculum that combines travel, exploration and experiential learning to give students the foundation they need to be more prepared for college. Students come away from our program with foundational life skills, a toolkit of effective work habits and the clarity and confidence they need to be successful in college—and life.
