We are seeking a driven inside sales professional to join our Growth team. The Sales Lead is responsible for developing a robust pipeline of prospective students by converting inbound leads to completed applications and ultimately deposits. This role requires the ability to develop empathetic relationships with potential students and their families.

We are seeking a driven inside sales professional to join our Growth team. The Sales Lead is responsible for developing a robust pipeline of prospective students by converting inbound leads to completed applications and ultimately deposits. This role requires the ability to develop empathetic relationships with potential students and their families.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with students and parents, from first contact until you close the deal. ●  Analytical; can gather relevant data from multiple sources and translate it into insightful stories and tactical recommendations

●  Ability to perform well in highly dynamic, rapidly changing startup environment

Responsibilities

●  Proactively manage and respond to prospective students and inbound leads. Speed and frequency is the name of the game

●  Own targets and manage a robust sales pipeline

●  Build and cultivate relationships on an ongoing basis to drive applications and deposits

●  Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities

●  Achieve weekly targets for volume of phone calls, number of coaching sessions scheduled, and number of applications completed

●  Host and lead online information sessions for both parents and students to convert sales. Drive attendance to webinars and coaching sessions

●  Quickly identify student and parent needs and barriers and appropriately position Year On’s value proposition

●  Capture detailed data on all customer touchpoints and maintain detailed HubSpot records. Report to the executive team weekly on funnel metrics, insights, and recommendations

●  Synthesize feedback from prospects to help inform our program and marketing initiatives

Requirements

●  2+ years proven experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or Recruiter

●  Proven experience in prospecting, pitching, probing, proposing, closing

●  Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)

●  Track record of achieving sales quotas

●  High proficiency in HubSpot, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote, Word, and other Google Products

●  Understanding of sales performance metrics

●  Excellent communication and negotiation skills

●  Exceptional closing skills while remaining welcoming, understanding, and empathetic
